I am a Zambian-Malawian-Swiss actor, theatre director and educator, journalist, poet, storyteller, dancer, and movement teacher based in Bern, Switzerland.

I began my professional artistic career in Malawi, where I worked for over a decade with Nanzikambe Arts Theatre. In 2011, Theater Konstanz commissioned me to create The Story of a Tiger, a solo performance adapted from the work of Italian playwright Dario Fo. The production toured extensively across Africa, Europe, and Asia for more than seven years.

I made academic history as the first African student to graduate from the Bern University of the Arts (HKB) with a Master’s degree in Expanded Theatre.

As a theatre educator, I have worked across schools, streets, villages, orphanages, and prisons in Malawi, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.

I have also collaborated on projects and workshops with institutions including Schlachthaus Bern, Bühnen Bern, Gessnerallee, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Theater Basel, Roxy Theater, and Maxim Theater.

I am the founder of Ubuntu Theater Performance Verein, a board member of T.Punkt, and a part-time visiting lecturer.
