"Acting for Kids, newcomers"
Beschrieb
Kids love playacting, and do it by themselves all the time. It is their natural way of exploring the world, the social environment and themselves. This course picks up on this natural activity in the child in order to introduce acting skills. Practicing the craft of acting along with other children simultaneously promotes a child’s personal development.
The course touches on the following subjects:
Portraying
- through sensory perception (using voice and movement)
- through behavior (using posture, gesture, speed, force)
- through speech (using emphasis and phrasing)
- through everyday activities
- through role play (action and reaction)
Imagining
- being somewhere else (environment and landscape, climate and weather)
- being someone or something else (animal, tree, moon, king)
Practicing
- voice and diction
- movement for the stage
- role analysis
